Food manufacturer in Plover, WI is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production process, ensuring that it runs smoothly and is cost-effective.
  • Manage the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
  • Liaise with different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers, to ensure smooth operations and coordination.
  • Implement and control the production schedule, reviewing and adjusting where necessary.
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports.
  • Monitor and control inventory, overseeing the ordering and supply chain management process to ensure adequate materials are available for production.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large production team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Implement strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the business.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, and management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in production management, supply chain management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of production machinery, processes, and quality control techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of industry safety standards and the ability to implement them.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performance team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle and manage a high-stress environment.

Pay

$65,000 - $80,000 per year (base salary + bonus eligibility)
