About the role
Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift. This position will be located at our Euclid, OH facility.
Responsibilities
- Direct all manufacturing personnel to ensure completion of customer requirements.
- Assess performance indicators, and take appropriate actions, to ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
- Assure that required documentation and/or system transactions (employee hours, work order postings, etc.) are executed to meet customer, manufacturing system, and financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure that policies, procedures, and other documentation are followed to ensure consistent and compliant manufactured product.
- Provide leadership and commitment in support of continuing improvements in quality, productivity and delivery performance.
- Assure that Environmental, Health, and Safety issues are addressed considering local regulations, Eaton policy, and good corporate citizenship.
- Evaluate operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, commendations, and improvements.
- Specify job assignments for manufacturing personnel, and monitor performance, to achieve product delivery and cost requirements.
- Cookordination and assistance with manufacturing initiatives, participation on teams in order to drive best practices across manufacturing.
- Identify critical machines for setup reduction and reduce setup times.
- Develop and implement standardized work for all critical processes in the machining, assembly, and test areas.
- Manage on-shift training execution, documentation and follow-up.
- On-shift facilities management and maintenance alerts/communication to following shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in a Manufacturing or Operations environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in complex manufacturing.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in CNC machining or complex assembly and test.
- Experience in Aerospace or other highly regulated quality systems.
- Experience in a union represented environment.
- Experience with analytical tools (Power Bi, Minitab, Excel Analytics, Tableau, etc.).
Skills
- Thorough understanding of lean manufacturing technologies and processes.
Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Schedule
This position will be on 3rd shift from the hours of 11:00pm to 7:00am.
