Production Supervisor 3rd

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Cook up employee activities.
• Support all quality system-related tasks.
• Push for continuous improvements in the production program.
• Handle employee issues and resolve problems.
• Maintain high customer quality standards; ensure production quality; take corrective actions to enhance quality.
• Meet production schedules, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and devise/implement countermeasures to meet KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance standards.
• Monitor employee attendance and keep attendance records.
• Administer Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions, including coaching employees and administering discipline.
• Maintain discipline within the department.
• Manage daily overtime and weekends as needed.
• Operate all three shifts.
• Show self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Have an excellent attendance record.

Required Qualifications

• Obtain a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field and possess at least 4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, or an equivalent number of work experience years as a production supervisor.
• Show working knowledge in machine setup and lean manufacturing.
• Lead projects successfully.
• Show the ability to work daily overtime and weekends as required.
• Be self-motivated and demonstrate good organizational skills.
• Show effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Show an excellent attendance record.
