About the role

The Panning Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising hourly employees and executing production and logistics plans. This role is 'On-Site' at the location detailed in the job post. Schedules may vary and are subject to change.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the execution of production and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labor in production and warehouse functions
  • Participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility
  • Operate production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP/SQF program guidelines
  • Direct and guide operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, cooking, packaging, shipping, etc)
  • Develop employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality
  • Resolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance
  • Support Lean Training as directed by Operations Manager
  • Owes regulatory compliance and food safety process, including: proper sanitary condition, allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures, and maintaining MCRS sustainability standards
  • Support and execute relevant projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience In Leadership Role In Manufacturing
  • Previous manufacturing experience, with experience managing complex continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Understanding of GMP principles
  • Process, packing, and mechanical experience
  • Experience managing people, with ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of LEAN Manufacturing Principles
  • Experience using RedZone a plus
  • Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pillars a plus

Pay

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually.
