About the role

Responsible for leading the daily operations of the Center Analysis & Repair (CAR), ensuring safety, quality, productivity, repair effectiveness, failure analysis accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The CAR Supervisor manages teams performing server diagnostics, debugging, root cause analysis, board-level repair, and component replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Debug, Failure Analysis, and Repair Technicians.
  • Manage daily CAR operations and staffing.
  • Monitor and report Productivity, FPY, Repair Yield, TAT, Cycle Time, Utilization, Scrap and Customer Escapes.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support server, motherboard, and board-level repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ESD, ISO, Quality and Safety requirements.
  • Support NPI and new repair processes.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
  • Lead employee coaching, performance reviews and development plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in electronics manufacturing, failure analysis, debug, repair, test or technical operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred/optional in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline. Equivalent technical education and relevant experience may be considered.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, board-level repair, root cause analysis, server architecture, SMT manufacturing processes, schematics, PCB layouts, diagnostics and repair methodologies.
  • Strong people management, coaching, communication, conflict resolution and employee development skills.
  • Advanced Excel preferred; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and KPI reporting capability.

Preferred technical experience: server repair and diagnostics; motherboard and level board repair; ASIC troubleshooting and replacement; CPU and microprocessor diagnostics and replacement; BGA troubleshooting; use of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies and diagnostic equipment.

Preferred qualifications: Lean Manufacturing experience; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; IPC-A-610 knowledge; IPC-7711/7721 preferred; ERP/MES experience; Server RMA operation experience.

Schedule

2nd shift, Monday - Saturday, 3 PM - 12 Midnight
