Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Perform daily inspections, lead safety audits, and enforce HACCP and USDA regulations.
• Product Quality and Training: Maintain product quality, train employees on safe operating procedures, and ensure tasks meet product specifications.
• Operational Efficiency: Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances, and suggest improvements to enhance workflows and minimize costs.
• Team Leadership and Communication: Direct and coach hourly production employees, lead monthly line meetings, and foster a positive work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze key product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to maintain high standards of quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading teams, providing training, coaching, or mentoring.
• Strong communication skills, including oral and written, for problem-solving and leading complex process issues.
• Skilled in motivating, training, and coaching employees to achieve peak performance.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments and willing to work long hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing, leadership, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures.
• Skills in SAP, internet tools, spreadsheets, Word, order processing, and inventory software.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Benefits
