Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of workers involved in the fabrication, assembly, and processing of our company's products. The primary goal is to ensure that production processes run efficiently and that the quality of the output meets our standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily production requirements in line with customer demand and production plans
• Lead, coordinate, and develop production personnel to deliver safe, high-quality output
• Act as a key communication link between production teams and the Value Stream Manager
• Escalate safety, quality, delivery, or cost risks promptly and clearly
• Build a capable, engaged, and resilient team with appropriate staffing and skills coverage
• Make real-time decisions on labor allocation, task sequencing, and short-term production priorities
• Manage day-to-day trade-offs within the shift to maintain safety, quality, and delivery
• Resolve Tier 1 issues independently using standard work and problem-solving tools

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Experience with scheduling and resource management
• Understanding of safety protocols and risk management
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production supervision or a similar role

Pay

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $75,000 to $93,000.00 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.

Schedule

This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 1:00pm-9:00pm.
