About the role

The Production Supervisor will support the Corrugator team on the 2nd shift, leveraging leadership, operational experience, and strong communication skills to identify and implement improvements across people, processes, and systems within a union environment. This position will support the 2nd shift, operating Monday - Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm with occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an operating team in compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality
  • Foster a culture based on our [2] Principled Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy
  • Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes
  • Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production
  • Address key issues and concerns and interact with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production
  • Plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results on a daily basis

Requirements

  • Experience supervising or leading employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial OR military environment
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience supervising corrugator/converting or packaging production operations
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint - updating and creating spreadsheets, Word document creation/editing)
  • Experience using KIWI system
  • Experience in a union environment

Benefits

This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Specific eligibility criteria is set by the applicable Summary Plan Description, policy or guideline and benefits may vary by geographic region.

Pay

$70,000 - $100,000 per year

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm with occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
