Production Supervisor - 1st Shift - Plating Operation

Job Description

• Maintain line performance and address process issues.
• Achieve and resolve production schedules, allocate resources, and manage production interruptions.
• Plan and coordinate production activities, set objectives, and provide direction to the production team.
• Monitor line throughput, cycle time, and scrap daily.
• Collaborate with hourly production and maintenance staff to ensure optimal equipment utilization.
• Promote open communication with the production team regarding goals, performance standards, company policies, and procedures.
• Maximize manpower through cross-training, development, and delegation.
• Lead focused improvement teams to enhance quality, service, safety, and cost.
• Develop, execute, and sustain operating procedures with the team.
• Track and understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conduct gap analysis, and implement action-oriented activities.
• Resolve minor equipment and production issues for operators.
• Maintain health and safety of the production line, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years' production experience.
• Strong team-based attitude.
• Experience in implementing or enhancing teams.
• Effective communication and team management skills.
• Good hands-on manufacturing skills.
• Experience with world-class manufacturing techniques such as SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, etc.
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
