About the role
The Production Supervisor - 1st Shift position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. This role is located at the Omaha Power Center facility in Omaha, NE.
Responsibilities
- Lead with integrity and safety, think and act both tactically and strategically to meet production demands, solve issues and make improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production demands are met by your department and team leaders understand their roles in order fulfillment.
- Generate, promote, and execute improvements to production processes and costs through Continuous Improvement (CI) and cost-saving initiatives.
- Improve shop floor talent by knowing your team members, building trust, and inspiring them to perform at their best.
- Ensure compliance with policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and equipment operation, and perform 5S+ duties.
- Serve as a central point of contact for management regarding production issues in your functional area.
- Participate in the assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development of employees to foster strong performance.
- Evaluate workload requirements and delegate tasks to ensure proper and adequate staffing to support production needs.
- Investigate and solve quality issues, or serve as a point of contact for resolving quality concerns.
- Work with the quality control team to resolve issues and regularly review quality trends in the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in leadership - people management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study from an accredited institution.
- Experience with leading RIE’s/Kaizen/Manufacturing Engineering Capital Projects and other CI Activities in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading CAD or Inventor Drawings.
- Experience in fabrication, assembly, or shipping.
- Prior experience in an Engineer to Order (ETO) business.

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 per year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Schedule
This position is On-Site at the Omaha Power Center facility, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm.
