Production Supervisor- 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Supervisor for 1st shift in El Paso, TX.

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Pay

Expected annual salary range: $86,000 - $126,000. Eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Drive department processes through Eaton Business Systems to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, maintain machinery, and reduce costs, exceeding customer expectations.
• Monitor and improve systems to maximize quality and production.
• Schedule and commit workload to meet all customer needs effectively.
• Maintain and improve the quality and effectiveness of department methods and processes.
• Communicate with employees on policy, problem resolution, department objectives, and quality issues.
• Create and maintain high employee morale.
• Control and manage overtime, tool, and other budgets within guidelines.
• Manage payroll, attendance, performance reviews, and administrative needs accurately and timely.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments.
• Develop potential candidates for management and professional positions.
• Promote a positive and productive workplace environment.
• Promote plant MESH (safety) policies and encourage sound safety practices; support a zero-incident culture.
• Develop and maintain a self-directed work team environment.
• Support teams in achieving objectives and commitments.
• Support company-sponsored community involvement and employee activities.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Two or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt from geographical limitation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical industrial or management background with working knowledge of products (LVA, MVC, MVD, Fabrications).
• BSEE or other engineering degree from an accredited institution.
