About the role

As a Production Supervisor / Building Lead, you will lead the assembly of precut wooden parts to build trusses and panels used in building construction, and direct your crew in moving and positioning parts according to blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities
- Coach and provide direction, assistance, and training to production personnel in their work area.
- Enforce safety procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state safety laws.
- Maintain quality control standards and procedures as established by the company.
- Train and uphold production best practices for roof and floor trusses and wall panels.
- Ensure reporting employees obey all safety rules and regulations.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure scheduled work in the assigned area is completed on time.
- Meet customer deadlines for work delivery.
- Coach best practices in tool use, material handling, and building components.
- Keep all reporting employees busy and productive.
- Ensure the team cleans the work area daily at the end of the shift.
- Ensure the team is ready to work at the beginning of every shift and after breaks.
- Inform the Plant Manager when material is missing, defective, or additional material is needed.
- Maintain a spirit of teamwork with all employees.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Leadership experience.
