Production Supervisor (1st Shift Assembly)

About the role

Supervises production team members in a manufacturing and assembly environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates work assignments to shift employees
• Implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions
• Assists and supports EBWE in continuously improve initiatives
• Ensures effective employee relations by providing coaching and development
• Resolves issues equitably and with integrity
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
• Manages shift performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports
• Champions culture of safety through demonstration of behavior and adherence to workplace standards
• Participate in Corrective Action process
• Manage team member's time and attendance records as part of overall performance
• Determine, communicate and carry out necessary training of team members within designated shift
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, Tier 1 automotive preferred
• Business Management or equivalent preferred
• Experience with ERP systems

Skills

• Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal, and electronic), and interpersonal skills
• Effective at conflict resolution and troubleshooting issues
• Able to multi-task and manage resources through effective prioritization
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
