Job Purpose and Impact
The Production Supervisor - 12 hour night shift will provide strategic operational oversight for all production operating facilities with moderate presence in multiple areas or moderate degree of complexity. In this role, you will oversee and hold operating facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for decision making throughout the plant at night to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Responsible for holding Operators accountable to starting and stopping lines on time
- Responsible for holding Operators accountable to core job responsibilities and administering discipline where appropriate
- Execute routine operations of assigned area, Ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
- Partner with production supervisors and planning to meet customer specifications and timeline.
- Administer production budget for a department, process, or shift and executes purchase orders and ensures timely payment of invoices
- Develop operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.
- Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned areas.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, Minimum one year of directly related work experience
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of supervisory experience, Lean six sigma certifications, SAP experience
Position Information
- Relocation will be provided for this position
- Work schedule:12-hour night shifts, 3:30PM-3:30AM on a 3 / 4 schedule. Working nights will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights with every other Wednesday. Schedule is subject to change.
- Position is based in Newark, CA
- The expected salary for this position is $95K- $125K. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
