Production Stacker - 2nd Shift

Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company. Built on over 200 years of combined experience, Stratas provides value-added, branded, and custom-formulated fats and oils solutions to the Food Service, Food Ingredient, and Retail sectors. Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood and Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Corporate offices are in Memphis, TN.

About the role

This is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for stacking finished product, building pallets, and supporting production line operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Stack finished product and build pallets
• Support production line operations
• Safely perform a variety of production tasks
• Learn and follow written rules and procedures
• Produce accurate documentation
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Learn various positions and fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies as needed
• Adhere to and comply with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies
• Participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry
• Ability to work 2nd shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

Physical Demands

• Walk throughout the plant, including walking and climbing up/down stairs and ladders (portable, fixed)
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell, and touch) to identify and react to normal, abnormal, and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)

Pay

Starting pay: $18.03 per hour + $0.50 shift differential.
