Production Specialist Operator - 3rd shift

About the role

This Production Specialist Operator position is based at Abbott’s Columbus, Ohio plant within the Abbott Nutrition Division. The Columbus Plant is Abbott’s first manufacturing facility in the world, producing science-backed nutrition products that help keep consumers nourished at every stage of life. As part of this team, you’ll work in a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled production environment on the 3rd shift (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment related to filling, processing, and sterilizing, including sampling responsibilities.
• Monitor charts and perform tests to ensure sterility.
• Accurately complete work orders and other documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively within the department and across the plant with all levels of employees.
• Maintain and replenish production materials.
• Complete general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Adhere to compliance standards, including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aseptic fill and sanitation process experience.
• One year of production experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $19.05 – $38.15 per hour, with potential variations based on location.

Schedule

3rd shift, Monday - Friday.
