About the role
The 2nd Stage Interior Carpentry Production Specialist (Finishing Stage) transforms mobile medical coaches into high-quality medical environments through finish carpentry, trim work, cabinetry installation, and final interior detailing.
Responsibilities
- Install finish trim, moldings, cabinetry, countertops, wall panels, and interior finishing components
- Perform detailed finish carpentry work to meet company quality standards
- Install doors, hardware, drawer systems, shelving, and interior accessories
- Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble finish materials accurately
- Repair or adjust finish work to ensure proper fit and appearance
- Absorb and prepare for medical equipment installation and customer delivery
- Inspect completed work for cosmetic quality, fitment, and functionality
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout production
- Communicate material shortages, defects, or production concerns to supervisors
- Operate saws, routers, sanders, nail guns, drills, and other carpentry tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Frequently bend, kneel, climb, lift, and work in confined interior spaces
- Maintain a strong attendance record
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of finish carpentry and interior installation techniques
- Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and finish carpentry equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to produce clean, professional-quality finish work
- Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of finish carpentry, cabinet installation, RV, trailer, modular, or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with interior finishing, trim installation, and cabinetry preferred
- Familiarity with mobile medical, RV, or specialty vehicle manufacturing is a plus
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching, Comfortable material handling equipment
