Production Specialist

About the role

Support the training process of new employees and those transitioning into new roles. Conduct PIT training for new hires and recertifications when required. Regularly coach, encourage and monitor employees for compliance with safety rules and practices. Maintain department material requirements across all shifts. Collaborate with supervisors on production goals. Flexibility to operate and assist in different departments as needed. Assist with machine changeovers to help improve uptime. Collaborate with maintenance on breakdowns to improve reliability in the future. Work with QC to determine root cause and provide resolution to quality issues. Manage inventory of daily production tools and other high use items as needed. Coordinate required department cycle counts. Participate in continuous improvement events. All other required process activities.
