About the role

The Production Specialist will operate and set up the CNC KOMO and utilize computer software. They will coordinate doors on conveyors to the CNC, manually move cores onto the machine, run programs, stack cores onto off-feed rollers, perform quality checks, and monitor the CNC for quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established company safety policy & procedures
  • Meet established efficiency, quality, and production goals
  • Read production schedule, product codes, and batch tickets
  • Stand for duration of shift
  • Reach, push, pull, twist, and turn upper body and occasionally lift 75 pounds
  • Work overtime including weekends as needed
  • Detect and report defective and reject materials
  • Continuously monitor the CNC for quality production
  • Coordinate the CNC routers operation to maximize production
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance on the CNC
  • Work closely with production lead, core drivers, and group managers
  • Coordinate the order of core lifts through the CNC to meet lay-up department requirements
  • Recognize and prioritize rush and hot batch requirements
  • Adjust and set tooling to desired heights and distances
  • Pass all quality tests and calibrate measuring devices daily
  • Keep work area neat and organized during and at end of shift
  • Ensure that customer specifications are maintained on all products

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Knowledge of quality control and inspection processes
  • Ability to read and interpret production schedules and product codes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Physical ability to lift 75 pounds and stand for long periods

Pay

$26.64 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day with required overtime
