Production Specialist
Position Overview
The Production Specialist will support the planning, execution, and delivery of multimedia productions and content initiatives across the Fontainebleau Las Vegas ecosystem. This position will collaborate closely with the Director of Production, Senior Manager of Video Production, Manager of Production, Post-Production team, Social Media team, Brand Marketing team, and operational stakeholders to help execute productions efficiently while maintaining the highest creative and production standards. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, technically proficient, eager to learn, and capable of contributing both as a production support resource and an emerging content creator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support multimedia productions across digital, social, marketing, nightlife, entertainment, food & beverage, experiential, and brand initiatives
- Aid in pre-production planning, shoot preparation, equipment staging, location setup, crew support, and production logistics
- Support production operations on set, including camera assistance, lighting support, audio setup, talent coordination, equipment management, and production execution
- Assist in the setup, operation, breakdown, transportation, and maintenance of production equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, stabilization systems, and related gear
- Capture photo and video content for social media, digital platforms, events, activations, and marketing initiatives as assigned
- Serve as a secondary or support camera operator on productions while developing advanced cinematography and visual storytelling skills
- Independently capture content for smaller productions, social-first content opportunities, behind-the-scenes coverage, interviews, and real-time event needs as assigned
- Serve as a swing production resource capable of supporting camera operation, content capture, lighting, audio, production logistics, talent coordination, and on-set execution as business needs dictate
- Assist with content organization, media management, asset transfers, file preparation, and archival workflows
- Support editors and post-production teams by organizing footage, preparing project assets, and ensuring efficient handoff of production materials
- Collaborate with Visual Production leadership to execute shot lists, creative direction, production plans, and content objectives
- Assist in scouting locations, preparing production environments, coordinating logistics, and identifying potential production challenges
- Support on-property and off-property productions, events, activations, and content initiatives as required
- Maintain production inventory, equipment readiness, consumables, and asset tracking systems
- Assist with live event coverage, real-time content capture, and rapid-turnaround production needs
- Stay informed on emerging content trends, production techniques, social media formats, and multimedia best practices
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with talent, guests, executives, vendors, partners, and operational stakeholders
- Support multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational excellence
Qualification Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in video or content production or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of production processes, including pre-production, filming, and post-production
- Experience supporting production projects and coordinating tasks across teams or vendors
- Proficiency with basic production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality execution
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
