Production Specialist (3rd Shift)

Shift: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM • Hourly Rate: $20.17 + $1.50 shift differential • Location: Darien, Wisconsin

About the role

Reporting to Production Supervisors, you will work on-site at one of Conagra Brands’ largest manufacturing facilities, supporting production operations and helping ensure product quality, packaging compliance, and adherence to safety and food-handling standards. You will contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment through attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and follow schedule instructions.
• Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
• Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
• Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors and ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
• Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous material, or discoloration.
• Stop production and report serious deviations from requirements or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the work area.
• Assist operators with start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

In a manufacturing environment, noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements include:

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders, or kneeling for extended periods.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing, or carrying materials.
