Production Shift Supervisor

Revolution is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for our Mesquite, TX facility to oversee production operations, support team performance, and ensure safe, efficient daily manufacturing processes.

About the role

The successful candidate will work within a team environment, promote plant safety and environmental programs, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote plant safety and environmental programs and procedures.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meet specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action for safety, environmental, physical, and systems discrepancies.
• Inspect equipment and product to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality.
• Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem-solving, overtime, vacations, and training.
• Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs.
• Plan process activities and follow established priorities regarding procedures, equipment capabilities, process team performance, and staffing levels.
• Review, analyze, and act to correct non-conformance in safety, production, policies, and procedures.
• Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility, and reduce costs.
• Conduct required team meetings and safety training.
• Provide feedback to hourly employees on job performance.
• Promote and implement our Core Values daily.
• Collaborate with team members across operations and support teams.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; associate degree preferred.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• One-year supervisory experience is required.
• Previous experience in the plastics industry is preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated individual capable of multi-tasking and leading others.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including a rotating schedule, based on business needs.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
