Production Service Center Manager
About the role
The Service Center Manager will report to the General Manager of Service Centers BCS North America (BCSNA) and is responsible for oversight of all areas from order pursuit through order execution to shipment for the location. The position will lead a dynamic growth business through exceptional customer relationships, employee engagement, and alignment with our visions and values of integrity, environment, health and safety, innovation, respect, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide tactical leadership for the Service Center to deliver on the location’s operating plan.
- Establish a consistent vision and direction for the Service Center while connecting to other Service Centers and BCS strategic priorities.
- Lead a front-end organization utilizing project management skills, including experience working with subcontractors in the Building & Construction (B&C) Market.
- Identify market opportunities to drive growth at a rate exceeding the market.
- Develop manufacturing operating plans that deliver operational excellence in accordance with company policies, goals, and objectives.
- Ensure leadership execution in Environmental Health and Safety, upholding the company’s commitment to safety, environment, and communities.
- Develop quality strategies that drive process stability, quality assurance, and process standardization with controls and feedback.
- Implement robust people development and succession plans.
- Achieve results through team engagement and strong customer and supplier partnerships.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Finance and Accounting, including working knowledge of budgets and income statements.
- Understanding of cost control and cost-saving levers.
- Exceptional analytical, written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience in applying lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Background in manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures.
- Ability to coach employees through business challenges.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire employees.
- Commercially focused with strong inventory management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience (required).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of prior management experience (preferred).

About the Team
The Orlando, FL Service Center is located about 15 minutes from Downtown Orlando, offering easy access to major highways and proximity to Orlando Premium Outlets. Orlando is home to world-famous attractions like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and The World of Harry Potter, along with beautiful parks, gardens, and a variety of theme and water parks.
