Production Scheduler - Sanford, NC

What You’ll Do

• Create, maintain, and optimize daily and weekly production schedules.
• Support on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner closely with Master Scheduling, Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, schedule attainment, and inventory DOH meet plant performance targets.
• Collaborate with the Master Scheduler to support capacity planning and requirements alignment.
• Cook up with Supplier Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain replenishment signals and production-related settings within the ERP system.
• Provide daily production support, including expediting materials, setting priorities, and resolving supply issues.
• Coordinate the scheduling and movement of outside processing inventory.
• Maintain strong working relationships and communication with all departments.
• Operate within budget guidelines and support cost-reduction initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• A two-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; or 1–3 years of materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and analytical ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet software, and email.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (experience with production scheduling modules preferred).
• Experience in inventory forecasting, production scheduling, and capacity planning is preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
