Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and short-term production schedules based on demand plans, MPS, and capacity constraints.
- Release, sequence, and prioritize production orders in coordination with manufacturing, materials, and logistics teams.
- Monitor production progress and schedule adherence, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Cookordination with Materials Management to ensure material availability aligned with production schedules.
- Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, capacity, material shortages, or operational issues.
- Communicate production schedules, changes, and priorities clearly to manufacturing and support teams.
- Track and analyze production scheduling KPIs such as schedule adherence, lead time, and WIP levels.
- Maintain accurate planning and execution data in ERP and scheduling systems.
- Participate in planning meetings and daily/weekly production reviews.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve scheduling accuracy, production stability, and planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with planning standards, procedures, and data integrity requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, or supply chain planning roles.
- Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, APS systems).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data and KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or similar is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience supporting MPS or S&OP processes.
