About the role
The Production Scheduler II - Controls position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient production processes within the manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating shifts, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shift schedules and ensure adherence to production timelines.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules based on real-time data and feedback from operators.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate effectively with team members.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of production schedules and employee work hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production scheduling or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze production data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for scheduling and analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial control systems and automation.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
