About the role
Provide production support through scheduling, releasing, and tracking of parts and workflow throughout the entire manufacturing process of oilfield pressure pumping equipment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material resources while identifying areas of risk with appropriate mitigation options in place to achieve on-time delivery.
- Work with Procurement to ensure supplier deliveries will meet production schedules.
- Cookordinate material and project activities across all production and support business functions.
- Provide daily reports and direction, with management aid, to Staging and Parts Coordinators.
- Meet with production personnel as needed to validate and update the latest schedules.
- Review daily production to verify schedules and material resources remain on track.
- Identify and communicate potential issues that impact project timelines, quality, or completion.
- Collaborate with production management to revise schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
- Provide job travelers, startup checklists, late part reports, and other parts forms to aid production and explain delays, difficulties, and changes to cost estimates.
- Review and validate OSP purchase orders, labor transactions, parts and pending materials are accurately applied to aid in final job closeout.
- Review negative open requirements and correct any issues.
- Prepare short range material and production forecasts based on current and future work with managerial oversight.
- Support Staging and Parts Coordinators with parts returns through blue bin process.
- Support MRB decision process regarding disposition of inventory.
- Build a good understanding of UEM products, workflow processes, and how departmental functions relate across the business.
- Participate in a Committed Safety Individuals (CSI) team to promote a safe work environment with positive safety behaviors and practices.
- Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum 1 (one) year experience with Oracle or another ERP system required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word).
- Capability of utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
- Ability to exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50 lb/f (no wheels) or 100 lb/f (wheels).
- Requires bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers on occasion.
- Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Will be required on occasion to work more than 40 hours in one week.
