Production Scheduler

Job Summary

iFab Corp. is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules ensuring timely delivery of products while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role collaborates with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to balance customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and production capacity.
• Cook up with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure materials and resources are available according to schedule.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to handle delays, machine downtime, material shortages, or shifting priorities.
• Track work orders and guarantee production targets and delivery commitments are met.
• Analyze production data and seek out chances to enhance scheduling effectiveness and resource utilization.
• Pass on schedule updates and production priorities to pertinent stakeholders.
• Prepare production reports and keep track of key scheduling metrics.
• Affirm compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and juggle numerous priorities.
