Deceuninck North America is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler for our production facility in Monroe, Ohio. This role supports extrusion operations by collaborating with operations and customer service to meet customer requirements, inventory goals, and business objectives. The Production Scheduler will contribute to Deceuninck's Supply Chain Excellence initiatives through data-driven planning, schedule optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain MRP and scheduling parameters aligned with demand requirements.
- Develop production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory objectives, manufacturing efficiency, and available capacity.
- Evaluate production constraints and proactively adjust schedules to optimize throughput and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure schedule feasibility and material readiness.
- Monitor and report key scheduling KPIs, including schedule adherence, production stability, capacity utilization, and schedule-related service risks.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning parameters, scheduling processes, reports, and system utilization.
- Support Supply Chain Excellence initiatives through continuous improvement, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Previous experience working with SAP, MES, and Power BI.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self-review skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a high sense of urgency.
- Proven analytical experience with a high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem solving.
- APICS/ASCM certification (preferred).
