About the role
We are seeking a Production Scheduler who is passionate about human space exploration, the origins of the universe, and working with a diverse team to make a global impact. You will be part of a team that works closely with NASA to develop and deliver systems that enable space exploration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production and processing services ensuring alignment with program milestones and on-time deliveries.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed production schedules across the EVA (Extravehicular Activity) program.
- Communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Serve as the planning focal for program hardware builds, from procurement through delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Cook up capacity planning, make/buy decisions, and scenario modeling to inform critical path strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize build sequencing and resource allocation.
- Track production KPIs, generate dashboards, and deliver planning insights.
- Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field or in a related area.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing of critical hardware.
- 10+ years of production planning or project management experience using Microsoft Project, preferably in the aerospace field.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.
- Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.
