Production Scheduler

Job Title: Production Scheduler Industry: Manufacturing Location (city, state): Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Assignment Type: Direct Hire Pay: $70,000–$80,000 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., onsite. The company is expanding to meet increased customer demand and is seeking a skilled scheduler to support an efficient production operation. The Production Scheduler will create and manage manufacturing schedules to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. This individual will partner with Sales, production, drafting, and leadership to coordinate work orders and align production needs with available labor, materials, and equipment. The role will also identify scheduling gaps, monitor progress, and communicate potential delays or operational concerns. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain production schedules based on order priorities, capacity, and delivery deadlinesPartner with Sales to review incoming orders and confirm realistic completion datesSchedule work orders and assign projects across welding and fabrication operationsUpdate visual scheduling tools to provide departments with clear production visibilityPrepare and release job packets containing the information needed by production employeesDistribute project files to support the development of shop drawingsCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, and other resources to maintain an efficient workflowTrack production progress and revise schedules when priorities, capacity, or deadlines changeIdentify labor, material, or process constraints and communicate recommended solutions to leadershipMaintain accurate production, scheduling, and inventory information within company systemsProvide internal teams with timely updates regarding order status, delays, and potential issuesCollaborate across departments to support safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious production scheduling or coordination experience within a manufacturing environmentAbility to manage work orders and balance multiple production prioritiesExperience with an ERP, MRP, or similar production-planning systemProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to anticipate scheduling conflicts and communicate concerns proactivelyBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, manufacturing, business, or a related field preferredThree to five years of production scheduling or fabrication-support experience preferredNetSuite ERP experience preferred
