About the role

The Production Scheduler Advanced plays a crucial role in preparing feasible production schedule scenarios for assembly and in-house parts and associated materials. They take into account customer need dates, actual production schedule, production status, backlog, outstanding work, and available capacity to ensure consistency with the Master Production Schedule process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares Weekly Master Production (MPS) meetings and challenges stakeholders for firm commitments.
  • Elaborates detailed Production Schedules and designs recovery plans when deviations occur.
  • Ensures the transition from planning to action by implementing decided schedules into the production system.
  • Validates and officializes short-term planning impacts on the Industrial System (5M).
  • Builds and analyzes KPIs to measure execution and delivery performance.
  • Promotes a customer-focused mindset within the plant organization.
  • Collaborates with all site functions to implement strategy changes effectively.
  • Synthesizes complex planning scenarios and presents clear, concise updates to multiple levels of management.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management / Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • APICS CPIM (Level 1) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Industrial Management.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with MRP II principles (especially S&OP, MPS, MRP, and Execution).
  • A good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain concepts within a production environment.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and multi-site networks, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Onsite or remote: 20% remote.
  • Max Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens.
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone.
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors).
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
  • Personal Protective Equipment required: Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems and MRP II.
