About the role

US Concerts is seeking a Production Runner, responsible for various 'errands' and tasks associated with the talent and production of shows. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional and personable attitude with touring and venue personnel.
• Responsible for various 'errands' associated with the talent and production of the show.
• Confidentiality is very critical to this role.
• Deliver and retrieve items from local stores, vendors, airports, hotels, laundry.
• Provide local area information to touring personnel.
• Maintain cash and receipts throughout the day.
• Assist with miscellaneous production projects as directed.
• Provide transportation for personnel throughout the show day (maybe personal vehicle or large rental van/cargo van).
• Assist production staff with production-related duties backstage throughout the show day.
• Ensure stage and backstage areas are clean and free of clutter

Requirements

• Candidates considered for this position will undergo thorough background and driving record checks.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license, operational cell phone and reliable transportation.
• Thorough knowledge of the local area, including area businesses & locations.
• Safe driving habits extremely important.
• Friendly and personable, works well with others.
• Available for long shifts, including nights and weekends (typical show day runs about 16-18 hours).
• Preferred 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Experience in a live music environment or comparable role.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a driving record check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $20.82 USD - $25.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Schedule

The typical show day runs about 16-18 hours, including long shifts, nights, and weekends.
