Production Processing Assistant

We’re looking for a Production Processing Assistant to bring their passion, precision, and problem‑solving skills to our team in Carson, CA. You will come to understand the life cycle of parts from donor stage to a finished good and will assist with overall part flow from suppliers and internal resources by preparing work orders and managing production lots. Your goal is to ensure smooth and efficient production operations for the downstream value chain in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and assemble parts to prepare for outside processing
• Coordinate and assist outside processing part movement and staging under direction from the Lead
• Work closely with disassembly vendor to ensure timely flow of donor parts
• Create and update work instructions related to preparing parts for outside processing
• Analyze and test parts for quality conformity according to the Engineering Department’s SOP
• Manage inventory levels within MRP and transactions for inventory moves

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of related work experience with automotive parts and/or working in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask, follow work instructions, and be adaptable

Skills

• Technical training in the automotive industry (bonus)
• Familiarity with Porsche vehicles, especially early models (bonus)

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is between $22.00 and $29.00 per hour plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This position is onsite in Carson, CA and the schedule is Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30 pm with overtime as needed.
