About the role
As a Production Process Control Engineer, you will contribute to Johnson Matthey's mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, monitoring and troubleshooting PGM and non-PGM diesel catalyst coating processes during assigned shifts.
- Optimizing process parameters to improve efficiency, reduce waste, minimize rejects and limit downtime.
- Ensuring products consistently meet customer and quality specifications through effective process control.
- Supporting the introduction of new technologies by developing procedures and training colleagues.
- Collecting and reporting operational, safety and process data including shift summaries and incident reports.
- Championing health, safety and environmental compliance in line with JM Life Saving Policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.
- Ability to train, coach and collaborate effectively within shift-based teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
