About the role

Doosan Bobcat is hiring for various production positions in Gwinner, ND. This role involves assembling products, operating industrial trucks, and performing welding and fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles product according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints, diagrams, layouts, or oral instruction.
  • Operates industrial truck equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, and material in warehouse, storage, yard, or factory.
  • Supplies the assembly lines with the materials needed to perform their job.
  • Maintains 5S schedule and fills out daily production sheets and 5S metric boards for their specific cell.
  • Identifies and labels parts for their specific area with correct quantity and location.
  • Trains and assists others as requested by supervisor.
  • Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.

Requirements

  • Work experience 0-2 years or more, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements.
  • Able to read build sheets and blueprints.
  • Able to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms.
  • Exert 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to learn general and job-specific instructions through on-the-job and classroom training.

Skills

  • Assembly skills.
  • Industrial truck operation.
  • Welding and fabrication techniques.
