Production Planning Support C

Essential Functions

• Accurately move and transact material in a timely manner
• Manage inventory locations
• Enter data accurately into CostPoint (ERP system)
• Data entry into Excel to provide traceability and metrics
• Communicate product or documentation discrepancies
• Aid multiple supporting functions with various material-related duties
• Perform tasks designated by management
• 5S responsibilities for designated area
• Responsible for packaging shipments of completed goods against external sales orders or customer demand
• Responsible for receipt of units in Lab, MES, Database, create E-File Folder, create travelers, and Cost Point processes
• Perform necessary Cost Point transactions to allocate complete assemblies to upper-level manufacturing orders, complete reliefs of dispatched production on the operating floor, research production control issues and questions when asked by various supporting job functions
• Responsible for transactions of nonconforming material within our quality systems and ERP systems
• Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Preferred Additional Skills:
• Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Edge
• Experience with Costpoint/TipQA is a bonus
• Experience with data management / processing preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to multitask and change priorities as directed
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
