Production Planning Coordinator

About the role

JELD-WEN is a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-performance interior and exterior doors, windows and related building products serving the new construction and repair and remodeling sectors. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company operates across North America and Europe. We currently have a position available for Inventory Control Coordinator to assist our manufacturing division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately maintaining detailed records of inventory, including: physical inventory, orders, transfers and cycle counts
• Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels
• Ability to critically think and research discrepancies, as it relates to inventory levels
• Reconcile quantity discrepancies between stock and record
• Develops, recommends, and implements new processes and procedures when necessary
• Works with operations leadership to ensure warehouse procedures are followed, as it relates to inventory used and maintaining rack items
• Lead teams to perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate levels
• Assists with physical inventory maintenance, planning and execution

Requirements

• Previous inventory control experience
• Previous clerical experience in a warehouse/transportation setting
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
