About the Role

Plans and establishes production schedules, monitors materials and inventories, tracks production progress, and reviews factors affecting schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Develops master schedules to establish sequence and lead time for operations to meet shipping dates based on sales forecasts or customer orders.
  • Analyzes production specifications, plant capacity data, and performs calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Conducts short- and long-term planning to optimize sales and manufacturing plans.
  • Anticipates and adapts to changes in seasonal sales and manufacturing efforts to meet customer demand.
  • Manages consigned inventory.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine project status.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and adjusts schedules to address unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepares production reports.
  • Provides accurate physical inventories as required.
  • Performs productivity analysis as required.
  • Runs and processes all production cards and tags.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in production or a related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Ability to consolidate data into concise presentations and reports.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills under pressure.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US.

Pay

$35 to $40/hour.
