Production Planner / Scheduler

Job Summary

Grande in Fond du Lac, WI is looking for our next Production Planner / Scheduler!

You’ll be a key contributor on the Planning team, supporting the flow of operations from milk procurement through finished product shipment.

• Develop and communicate weekly production schedules for cheese and whey products
• Cook up coordination with plants and co-manufacturers
• Maintain finished goods inventory to ensure quality age guidelines are met

What You Need To Be Considered For The Role

• A 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Dairy Science, Animal Science, or another related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Internship or other related experience in production and inventory management and/or supply chain management experience preferred.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Adaptability with computer skills
• Preferred APICS or CSCMP participation a plus.
• Leverage Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus.
