Production Planner I - Temporary

Responsibilities

• Maintain and establish production schedules (ERP system or manual Kanban) with input from key departments including Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Marketing, and Supply Planning.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Assurance buyers to prevent material shortages.
• Ensure optimal production flow through finite scheduling, data analysis, and resolution of routine issues.
• Generate and analyze data, run reports, and provide scheduling recommendations.
• Resolve production schedule messages and issues raised by production personnel.
• Manage routine to moderately complex scheduling activities with limited scope.
• Seek supervisor guidance for non-routine issues or escalations.

Requirements

• Follow established processes, work instructions, and company policies.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop reports and tools to improve workflow efficiency and scheduling effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management, or related field.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with ERP systems or in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience in general production planning/scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues.

Pay

The estimated hourly range for this position is $33.80 to $45.86 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
