Production Planner I

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation and maintenance of master production schedules to balance supply and demand.
• Maintain production performance against schedules and recommend adjustments to meet delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely production.
• Support the resolution of supply chain issues and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft for master data and production planning.
• Ability to analyze demand and supply data to recommend schedule adjustments and resolve issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience with materials management, SIOP, and inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of MRP/MPS systems and production planning tools.
• Project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence decision-making.
