Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products, and managing inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and company goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust production plans accordingly to meet demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials and components.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and logistics to align production plans.
• Manage production issues and coordinate with team members to resolve problems efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using production planning software such as SAP or Oracle Planning Cloud.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory systems.
