Production Planner
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the Production Control database administration and monitoring of production reporting to ensure accuracy
- Schedules manufactured finished goods and special orders
- Assists with design, development and maintenance of programs for information sharing between manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and sales
- Participates in the continual development of methods for improving scheduling procedures, increasing productivity and realizing cost reduction opportunities
Job Skills
- Comprehensive experience with financial analysis, cost accounting and auditing
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and MRP software (SAP)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with multiple departments throughout the organization (Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales)
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to exercise judgment while handling multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Job Skills - Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
