PRODUCTION PLANNER 2

U.S. Citizenship required. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. Relocation assistance is not available. Not eligible for telework. Travel required 10%-25% of the time. Clearance not required to start.

About the Role

Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to a specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers. Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases. Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools. Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements. Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience
• One of the following may be used as equivalent to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, or Military experience

Pay

Salary range: $58,000.00 to $74,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.
