Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Schedules daily production and add-on orders.
  • Prioritizes production lines based upon product demand and availability.
  • Maintains material inventories, tracks production progress, and reviews factors affecting schedules.
  • Investigates raw material shortages and overages with the receiving department.
  • Makes necessary modifications to schedules as approved by senior staff.
  • Issues orders to the appropriate department when schedule revisions are made.
  • Reviews daily production reports for discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Works with production departments to resolve production and processing problems.
  • Aids in preparing or running monthly production reports.

Job Specifications

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience is required.
  • Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic PC skills are required.
  • Database experience is a plus.
  • English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
  • A flexible work schedule is required.

Working Conditions

  • Office and production environment.
  • Temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs.
  • Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Compensation

$29.56 to $35.47 per hour/ non-exempt.
