PRODUCTION - PC - PACKAGING SPECIALIST *** 1ST SHIFT***

Keep the Greenville Facility running smoothly by making adjustments during production runs, utilizing quality tools to ensure product standards are met, and contributing to a safer, stronger, and more sustainable Sauer Brands.

About the role

Understand the function of the equipment to correctly adjust during runs while promoting the smooth operation of the line.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks (code dates, seal integrity, and correct labeling) on a predetermined schedule as needed or assigned by leadership.
• Ensure lot ID information is tracked accurately and all paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
• Increase effectiveness and cross-train where needed to promote line effectiveness.
• Maintain high standards regarding company policy involving SAFETY and GMPs.
• Participate in Toolbox talks incorporating stretching.
• Promote Safe Start principles and near-miss reporting to further the improvement of safety in the plant.
• Keep work areas orderly and clean.
• Demonstrate ability to properly stack boxes and apply labels and lids.
• Familiar with Production ID and Production Schedules.
• Accurately complete Palletizing Sheets and print labels.

Requirements

• Machine Operating Experience preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Able to walk and stand during most of a 10-hour shift.
• Quality-driven, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
