Production Partner, YouTube Long-Form Content - Los Angeles

Key Responsibilities

• Run full-day, on-site shoots at the LA UpCenter, 4 to 5x per month minimum
• Handle camera, audio, and lighting for long-form (5 to 15 min) episodes
• Capture enough coverage — angles, b-roll — to support real pacing in the edit
• Edit long-form episodes with the pacing and storytelling of the best long-form YouTube content out there
• Cut a strong long-form episode plus a set of shorts/clips repurposed from the same shoot
• Bring real experience keeping long-form retention high — pacing, hooks, avoiding the mid-video drop-off
• Work directly with our team and host to structure each episode before filming
• Direct on set to keep footage usable and on-story
• Debrief after each shoot on what worked and what to change next time
• Bring format and series ideas beyond a single review structure
• Help test what actually keeps people watching, and adjust
• Own the visual consistency of the channel episode to episode

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A proven track record producing and editing long-form YouTube content specifically
• Comfortable running a full production day, camera to final cut
• Able to reliably commit to Redondo Beach, 4 to 5 full days a month
