Production Packer - Thermo Nights

Join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in Huntersville, NC as a Production Packer 1.

Pay

$19.51/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential for night shifts.

Schedule

2/2/3 schedule – work approximately 13 days out of the month with 2 (3) day weekends off per month. 12-hour shifts in Thermoforming: 6:45pm – 7:00am or 7:00am - 6:45pm. Ability to shift swap with prior approval and one week’s notice.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects, and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety, and quality procedures while maintaining productivity standards.
• Maintain machinery operation by monitoring codes and dates, making minor adjustments/repairs as necessary using appropriate tools.
• Perform quality checks and adjust as needed.
• Check controls on equipment relating to vacuums, heat, pressures, timing, and water flow.
• Maintain records such as production reports, data entry, and detailed shift reports.
• Monitor raw materials inventory and inform warehouse of shortages.
• Communicate effectively with oncoming shift lead/operator regarding pertinent information.
• Perform other related duties as directed by team leader.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
• 1-2 years as a Packaging Machine Operator is a plus.
