Packer - Nights

This position is responsible for manufacturing, packaging, and shipping quality brushes and rollers in accordance with standard efficiency and safety procedures.

Schedule

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Shift Differential: $1.00/hour
• Training Schedule: Day Shift 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, approximately 2-4 weeks

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including but not limited to baggers, drop sealers, and zip sealers
• Pack rollers according to work orders utilizing various packaging materials such as plastic bags, boxes, etc.
• Read and follow instructions in all areas of the production floor, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and receiving
• Monitor quality of product in manufacturing and packaging areas
• Use computers to enter data for work-associated tasks
• Participate in housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clutter-free work environment
• Continuously advocate and practice the principles of the safety program
• Participate in site safety committee meetings and activities
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Adhere to attendance policy

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
• Experience with fine manipulation (such as sewing, cutting hair, or related activities)
• At least one (1) year of work experience monitoring quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
